Education
Dr. Chianti D. Woodfork is a native of Jackson, Mississippi. A graduate of William B. Murrah High School, she went on to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, graduating summa cum laude from Jackson State University. She later obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Texas A&M University Baylor College of Dentistry.
While attending Baylor, Dr. Woodfork was a member of such organizations as the Student National Dental Association, American Student Dental Association, Student Consultants for the Department of Admissions, and a Student Mentor for collegiate students in the summer enrichment program.
Following dental school, she returned to Jackson, Mississippi to complete a General Practice Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, an advanced educational training and hospital-based program focused on medically compromised patients.
Personal Philosophy & Interests
It has always been her mission to use her skills, share her love for people and dentistry, and spread her passion for promoting good oral health for all ages in her community and the state of Mississippi.
She is committed to continuously educating herself and her team on the newest dental techniques. To accomplish this, she is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Mississippi Dental Association, Mississippi Academy of General Dentistry, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
In her spare time, Dr. Woodfork enjoys traveling, bike riding, interior design, and watching movies. Her and her husband, Allen, are the proud parents of one daughter, Camryn, and one son, Amarion.
